I probably don’t need to tell you that ‘packing light’ means you’ll be wearing the same thing over and over as you travel. However, it doesn’t have to appear that way to everyone else. Not as long as you have versatile items to mix and match.
I almost always pack a light denim skirt. It pairs well with practically E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G. It’s a nice option for going somewhere warm and easy enough to layer on sweaters, jackets & boots if it starts to get chilly.
This skirt from Zara is one of my favorites. I call it my 'Kim K West'. Obvious, right? The faux burst at the seams gives the illusion of that extra thick thick.
You can get some really nice angles in it too with a good squeeze and tuck, if you know what I mean. Unfortunately, Zara no longer carries this skirt, but here are a few options that have a similar look -
